Do you have Imposter Syndrome? If so, you aren't alone.

I don’t know about everyone, but I do know that work and life are intensely interconnected when you are a working mom, maybe even more so when you are an entrepreneurial mom. Most likely you are working from home, making no money in the beginning, balancing building and growing a business while taking the kids to soccer and making sure everyone has clean clothes. It sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? Actually, it sounds pretty impossible. But, it isn’t impossible and women like Nellie AkalpKsenija Rostova, Sarah Blakely, and hundreds of other successful mompreneurs do it every day. AND SO CAN YOU!

Entrepreneur magazine thinks Moms Make the Best Entrepreneurs and I absolutely agree. Mama, you have no idea how unbelievably qualified and experienced you are running a home and family – skills that lend themselves fantastically to the entrepreneurial realm. I believe in you, you need to believe in you too!

The info you find here will overlap and interconnect business and personal, because that is how life works. My hope is to empower you through motivational thoughts, inspirational stories, experiences that have helped me as well as thoughts that I need to share based upon work/life/struggle/best practices I encounter in my everyday life and business interactions.

If there is a topic I have not yet addressed either here or in the work section that you would like to know more about, please shoot me an email at shannon@thestartupwoman.net. I love hearing from you guys, even if it is just to say you are enjoying the information I am sharing!
