I am always on the hunt for the latest and greatest (which means free or almost free and easy to use) graphic design tool or program to aid in everything from infographics to instagram posts – whatever is needed at that moment. While I do have my favorites that I continuously go back to (below) there is always something new that I add in to the rotation. Check all of them out below and find the one that works for you!
Something To Try
Pixelo is great because it provides bundles of cool new graphics and fonts from graphic designers. It will help you escape the boredom of the typical program and allow you to infuse modern, progressive designs to your sites.
A crowdsourcing type of graphic design program, that is perfect if you want something a little more custom made, especially logos. You submit your ideas and then wait as a bunch of designs provide you with options you can pick fun. Although not free, an amazing deal when it comes to custom design images.
Unsplash offers a large collection of free high-resolution photos and has become one of the best sources for stock images. If you take a few extra seconds, you will scroll past some images that may be familiar and find a treasure trove of pix that look very homespun and non-stocklike!
I move between Unsplash and Pexels daily when I am looking for images. Pexels doesn't have quite the inventory that Unsplash does, but you will find images that are gritty, real, and very unique.
Venngage is one of my favorite programs ever, ever, ever. Mainly because I love a good infographic and Venngage has a completely intuitive platform with beautiful templates that make creating an infographic fun and easy! If you are interested in creating infographics in Venngage, but want to fast track it and not get too bogged down in the learning part, I walk through the process in an over-the-shoulder process that will have you up an running in to time!
